Fantastic Exclusive Gothitropolis Scarabus 2-Up Recap

I hadn’t realized it, but the Four Horsemen have completed another round of Scary Shots, so it’s time for another recap – this time around they showed us the painted 2-ups for each of the variants, including the limited variants that will be available next month at their Toypocalypse show.

Looking at all of them, I’m having a hard time picking a favorite color scheme. I don’t have the space to get them all, so I may have to choose based on “theme” – right now I’m thinking about sticking to the ones that are more aligned with the Egyptian theme, meaning Scarabus, Anubos, Horos, and Thothos.

threeA Toys WWRp Day Watch Armstrong

This past Christmas, I got this guy – the World War Robot portable Day Watch Armstrong from 3A Toys – as a surprise gift:

After a couple of hours, I was looking around online, finding out as much as I can about ThreeA’s World War Robots. I have always liked the way these toys looked, especially the weathered paint apps on other variations, but I’ve always thought that they were way too pricey for me. Now that I have one on-hand, I can see now how people who collect this line can’t get enough.

Reminder: Masters of the Universe Classics Vikor, Eternian Guards, the Goddess and More on Sale 1/18

I’m looking forward to January’s sale date at MattyCollector.com – because it will be one of the few times this year I’ll have to go online to fight the hoards for a non-subscription item, in this case the Eternia Palace Guards 2-pack. I would guess that the Goddess subbing in for Evil-Lyn as the re-issue will help ease the competition, but also can see army builders going for the 2-pack in a big way.

If you’re just looking for the courtroom Peter Venkman, I’d guess that he’ll stick around for a while after the initial rush for MOTUC has died down.
