Wonder Woman on Sale at DC Collectibles

After seeing the Injustice Doomsday reveal, I was browsing through the DC Collectibles site and noticed that a lot of the Wonder Woman items are on sale right now. I am guessing this not just a random occurrence, but I haven’t seen any promotional activity of the sale – maybe it’s for Mother’s Day? Here’s the Wonder Woman figures that are on sale, including a superb deal on the Flashpoint set.

Other items are on sale too, including Wonder Woman’s Bust. I didn’t post the picture, but I figure some of you might click through just to see it. (Spoiler – those bracelets are used for more than blocking bullets!)

DC Collectibles Reveals Doomsday for 3.75-Inch Injustice Line, Paired with Catwoman for 2-Pack

Injustice Gods Among Us Doomsday Injustice Gods Among Us Catwoman

DC Collectibles has been posting teasers for the past couple days on the DC Collectibles Facebook page and finally unveiled the upcoming figure. It’s Doomsday, from the Injustice: Gods Among Us video game, and he will be part of DCC’s 3.75-inch line of figures. Joining Doomsday in the two-pack is Catwoman – I don’t think we’ve seen pictures of her action figure yet.

So far, there are 26 playable characters, including Lobo, who is the first DLC for the game. So far, DC Collectibles has 14 announced for this line, including: Aquaman, Black Adam, Catwoman, Cyborg, Deathstroke, Doomsday, Flash, Green Arrow, Harley Quinn, Nightwing, Raven, Solomon Grundy, Superman, and Wonder Woman.

That leaves: Ares, Bane, Batgirl, Batman, Green Lantern, Hawkgirl, Joker, Killer Frost, Lex Luthor, Lobo, Shazam, and Sinestro. I think there’s enough heavy hitters left to deliver all of these in 2-packs, as long as the initial line-up does well. How are you guys liking this line so far?

You can buy or pre-order Injustice: Gods Among Us figures at DC Collectibles, Entertainment Earth, BigBadToyStore, among others.

Getting the Star Wars Black Series Boba Fett? Check Out Joe Amaro’s Custom Jabba the Hutt

Jabba the Hutt by Joe Amaro 1

I’m pretty psyched about the San Diego Comic-Con exclusive Star Wars Black Series Boba Fett. It’s the first 6-inch Star Wars figure and launches the new line, and one of the coolest things about it is that it comes with a Han Solo encased in carbonite as an accessory. But once you’ve got Han in carbonite, what are you going to do with him? Joe Amaro’s already got that figured out, as he recently finished his Jabba the Hutt custom complete with all the accoutrements needed for Jabba’s throne room.

DC Universe Classics Superman by Ibentmyman-thing – I’m a big fan of IBMMT, being a proud holder of several of his customs (including his modern Johnny Quick and Power Ring!) – his Superman has a number of improvements, including a new more determined head sculpt, a larger Superman shield, and a more classic light blue paint job – ends May 09, 2013 18:30:05 PDT

Iron Man Movie Hall of Armors Infographic and Hot Toys Poll

Iron Man Infographic 1 Iron Man Infographic 2 Iron Man Infographic 3 Iron Man Infographic 4 Iron Man Infographic 5

We found this great infographic in our inbox about the Iron Man armors portrayed in the three Iron Man movies and the Avengers. It shows enough factoids about each to perhaps extend the Trivial Pursuit line to include an Iron Man edition. Oddly, the Mark 42 is notably absent from the list. The Iron Man infographic is from Costume Discounters, of all places. I guess they would like to do a brisk business in Iron Man and other super hero costumes, and I wish them the best of luck.

The last portion of the infographic shows the new Iron Man 3 armors revealed before the movie opened (minus the Mark 42 of course). And we know Hot Toys is working off this list, since they’ve already announced the Iron Patriot, War Machine, Red Snapper, Heart Breaker and Igor as upcoming releases.

It got me thinking, which of the three remaining armors will they make next? But more importantly, which do you want next?

I think I already know, but let’s see what you guys have to say. Of course, there’s a ton more armors featured in the movie (spoiler, if you somehow managed to miss all of the Iron Man previews they showed in the last few months), so this list will probably grow even longer – anyone know a site that lists them all?
