Mattel isn’t the only company with an online sale this week. 3A Toys is adding to its 1/12th scale World War Robot roster with the Armstrongs, available to pre-order in either 4- or 8-packs.
Talyn and I didn’t start collecting WWRp until recently, but now we’re hooked. If you aren’t familiar with this line of toys, check out our World War Robot reviews for more pics.
To remind you, WWRp Armstrongs will be on sale at http://www.bambalandstore.com on 23rd of April, 9-00 AM Hong-Kong time, that is 4 days and 18 hours from now, you can check the countdown for your timezone at http://www.threeaonline.com/blog [edit – link removed because the countdown timer is throwing a malware warning]
There will be two packs offered – 4pack and 8pack, prices – 160$ and 280$ with shipping included (in both cases). If you haven’t bought anything from Bambalandstore yet, I suggest you to register an account there right now, to save time during checkout and Bambalandstore accepts only Paypal, no credit cards!
I’m glad I’ve got a Club Eternia subscription, because I don’t want to be fighting the horde (no pun intended) to pick up an Evil-Lyn on Monday. This may also be the first time in a long time that I’m not logging onto MattyCollector.com to order an extra item – I have Hordak from when he was first released, and am not collecting the Dark Knight or 12-inch Ghostbuster figures.
The recolored gear for Stratos is what is nagging me to buy the Weapons Pak, but when I think about the stack of extra accessories I already have for MOTUC, I will probably pass.
Good luck with your order – use the Bundle page to make it easier!

When I win the lottery, I’ll buy every action figure I want. For now, these ones were Left on the Shelves.
In this edition, more Hasbro Iron Man 2 figures, Jazwares Sonic the Hedgehog, and Mattel The Dark Knight Harvey Dent.
Hasbro Iron Man 2
If you haven’t seen the lastest trailers and clips from Iron Man, you won’t understand why they call the Mark V armor the “suitcase armor” – and while it’s awesome on the big screen, I just couldn’t bring myself to buy another 3.75-inch Iron Man while I still have a pile of unopened Iron Men on the shelves at home.
Iron Starch and the Iron Man and War Machine versions of the Mighty Muggs were a little harder to resist, because cute and heavy armor are such a potent combination.
Mattel has released the official descriptions and pictures of their San Diego Comic-Con Exclusives that they announced on Attack of the Show (part 1 | part 2). They promised more reveals, and they came through with previously unannounced exclusives for Cars and Justice League Polly Pockets.
I’m psyched about face-hugger Starros for my DC Universe Classics Justice League, but is it weird that I’m excited about the dentist’s chair that comes with Mo-Larr? 🙂
I am sorely tempted to cancel my pre-order for the Battle-Damaged Mark III armor in exchange for the Mark IV. The new ab articulation looks like it will move pretty well.
