Sonic the Hedgehog is one of those iconic video game characters that everyone knows, he’s pretty much up there in popularity like Mario and Lara Croft. He finally gets the poseable figure treatment courtesy of Jazwares, and today we’ll have a look at two figures from the Sonic 3-inch line – Sonic and Knuckles the Echidna.

Masters of the Universe Classics Moss Man

Flocked body? Check! Pine-smelling scent? Check! Sellout in 4 minutes? Arrgh… Check!

Yes, today we’re taking a look at the latest release in the Masters of the Universe line – Moss Man! I have to admit,  I thought I would have to wait for this figure to be re-issued as I was one of those who missed out on his super-quick sellout on the 15th of March. I pretty much expected it since Mattel had announced that the increased  production runs would not take effect until June’s She Ra. Luckily, a friend was able to pick up an extra Moss Man for me so that I would be able to do this pictorial review. So let’s have a look at this rather unique figure.

Better late than never? Since I missed out on Stratos the first time around, I figured I’d do a pictorial review of him now that I finally have him with his recent reissue at Mattycollector.com. (As of this writing he has since sold out again.) Let’s have a look, shall we?

Marvel Minimates Toys R Us Two-Packs Wave 6

DSCN4289.JPG

The 6th wave of Toys R Us Marvel Minimates Two-Packs have started to hit Toys R Us stores this week with a line up of Thor Reborn/Lady Loki, Secret-Wars Storm/Klaw (TRU exclusive), Stretch Attack Mr. Fantastic/World War Hulk (TRU exclusive) and Battle-damaged Wolverine/Captain America. I didn’t pick up the Wolverine/Cap pack as I already have a Wolvie and I didn’t like the way Cap looked. I thought his mask wasn’t well executed and I’m hoping for a better one in the future.

We’ll have a look at the other three sets today!

Masters of the Universe Classics Trap Jaw

DSCN4213.JPG

Hot on the heels of the Battle Cat pictorial review, let’s have another look at Trap Jaw (Ron snapped a few quick shots of Trap Jaw during Toy Fair), evil and armed for combat! Another amazing figure from Mattel’s Masters of the Universe Classics line. Just look at that crazy design!

One thing I like about this toy line is that every now and then you get a character with his/her own “gimmick” that keeps the monthly purchases interesting. Tri-Klops had his rotating eyes, Scareglow glows in the dark, and Trap Jaw here has alternate robotic arm attachments. He also comes with alternate parts to create his previous identity of Kronis.
