The Hasbro San Diego Comic-Con Exclusive Pre-Show Giveaway – Day 1

Thanks to our friends in the Marvel, G.I. Hasbro worked closely with TONY STARK and STARK INDUSTRIES to create the ultra-hip vinyl collectible MARVEL UNIVERSE IRON MAN 2 MIGHTY MUGG figure. Styled after IRON MAN’s Mark VI armored suit, the figure features a retractable visor on its helmet and is highlighted in premium commemorative foil packaging.

ToyFare 157 On Sale Today

At the end of last week we had a preview of what was to appear in Toyfare #157, the San Diego Comic-Con pre-show issue, and that issue is on news stands today.

I think the editorial staff at Toyfare is trying to dominate the search engine results for “WORLD PREMIERE” and “WORLD PREMIERING” – there’s going to be a lot to see in this issue, including a new 12-inch Star Wars line from Gentle Giant that I had heard nothing about before today. Cool!

Hasbro San Diego Comic-Con Exclusives Press Pics

In Toyfare magazine two months ago, we got some looks at the Hasbro Marvel Universe exclusives for San Diego Comic-Con. With a week to go before the big show, Hasbro’s sent us some big pics of all of their exclusives. For those of you not going to be there, all of the items, with the exception of the Star Wars exclusive, are said to be available on HasbroToyShop.com after the convention.

Iron Man 2 Comic Series Wave 2 Available on HasbroToyShop.com

I’ve been hunting for these figures since Ash Talon reviewed Iron Man 2 Comic Series wave 2. I was particularly impressed with the Hulkbuster Iron Man and Titanium Man. I haven’t yet seen them at retail, but today I checked HasbroToyShop.com and found them all available there.
