Battleground Teela will be available in June – even though she’s designated the quarterly A-list variant, I’m looking forward to her more than I do the Faceless One. Mattel took her bio in an unexpected direction – this is Teela after she’s learned she’s the Sorceress’s daughter (and by cloning, really?) and become the new guardian of Castle Grayskull. I always thought she’d make a better companion to Vikor, and will put her next to him in my Preternia display.

She is included in the 2011 Club Eternia subscription as the 2nd quarter A-List variant figure but will also be available to purchase for non subscribers.
As part of its Collectors Appreciation Tour, Mattel was on site at WonderCon this weekend, in a relatively jam-packed booth, considering how much was on display. There was a lot of traffic to see the new reveals for Masters of the Universe Classics – in September, the Evil Horde gets some new blood with Leech and Hurricane Hordak.
Matty assures us that despite today being April Fool’s Day, these answers are completely legit! Thanks to the Mattel team for this round of Ask Matty.
1) We’re excited for MattyCollector.com’s Collector Appreciation Tour this year – it’ll be great to give folks who may not be able to make it to San Diego Comic-Con a chance to see the upcoming collectibles in person at C2E2, WonderCon, DragonCon, and New York Comic Con. Are you planning to have new reveals at each of these shows? We’ve gotten a close look at what you had on display at C2E2 – any surprises in store for WonderCon?

We will have some reveals at each show but it won’t be as much as we have at NYTF or SDCC and there won’t be reveals for every line. More like one or two figs for one or two lines per show.
